This by-the-numbers family film from Cameron Crowe is entertaining enough for one viewing, but don't expect me to ever sit through it again. There may be some who are more enchanted by it than me, and for that I give it some credibility. After the death of his wife, and his son getting in trouble at school, a single father gives up everything and buys a defunct zoo. The family faces every problem imaginable in their efforts to re-open the zoo. Crowe's musical choices are nice, as usual, but it's just not my type of film.
