2008 BOMB 130 mins.

Special note to the Academy: this is the WORST Best Picture winner ever. I think the characters in this film need to defuse this BOMB (read: strip it of all its awards). This film is beyond terrible; it's one of the worst films I've ever had to sit through. I got the point ten minutes into the film. Then it drones on for another two hours, and in the end...nothing happens. No one learns anything, no one does anything differently. It's a pointless waste of time. The characters are bland, the performances are stale, the writing is amateurish, the direction is sloppy, the cinematography is migrane-inducing, and the editing is an attack on the nervous system. War is a drug? Well, this film is a bad trip, resulting in convulsions and a trip to the hospital. Shame on anyone who gives this film any sort of recognition.
