1999 *** 95 mins.
The second feature film from Cameron Crowe is far more amateurish than his first, Say Anything... Truthfully, this feels like a first feature. The opening of the film is very rushed and left a bad taste in my mouth. The actors feel as though they're reading from cue cards throughout the entire film. It feels like a high school play. Luckily, the film gets better as it goes along. A bunch of young adults fall into and out of relationships. It's nothing really special, unless you're a fan of Crowe or any of the actors involved.
Original theatrical aspect ratio: 1.85:1
Rated PG-13 for language, sex-related dialogue and scenes of sensuality.
