After a string of great films, Cameron Crowe made this relatively low-profile picture that may not be up to his prior level of greatness, but it's still very quaint and sweet. After costing his company a billion dollars with a failed product, Drew Baylor (Orlando Bloom) is about to commit suicide when he gets a fateful phone call: his father has just passed away. Putting his suicide on hold until business is settled, Drew happens to meet a young woman who may just turn everything around. A bit too long, but undeniably sweet, Elizabethtown may not be for everyone, but it's quite enjoyable for me.
