At the end of World War II, a young nurse is attending to a patient who has been badly burned. Through his memories, we learn about his time in the Egyptian desert and the love that he experienced. A wonderfully executed film that does get a bit typical at times, but it is overall a fantastic motion picture experience, and it never drags or feels too long.
