The Space Jam soundtrack and I have a bit of a history. I grew up with the movie, and for many, many, many years, I wanted the soundtrack. I never bought it, though, until I was a parent, and I wanted to share the film and its music with my son. My son, of course, loves the movie and the album, and we listen to it all the time. Then, Record Store Day 2017 came along, and the soundtrack was re-issued on vinyl. I bought one, and I cherish it. Personal feelings aside, it's a really good soundtrack that has a lot of great songs on it. There are a few low points on the album, though, most notably the appearance of Chris Rock in "Basketball Jones." His additions to the song are irritating, and it would have been much better without him. Of course, the price of admission is worth it for "Fly Like and Eagle," "Spce Jam," and "I Believe I Can Fly" alone.
