The film may be problematic for me, but this soundtrack album is sheer perfection! Filled with great remasters, live tracks, and a couple deep cuts, the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack is the perfect album for the semi-Queen fan, like myself. The album begins with Brian May's great reimagining of the 20th Century Fox fanfare, then goes through the band's career, from their humble beginnings as "Smile," through the unforgettable Live Aid performance. In fact, the Live Aid section of the album is the undisputed highlight here, capping the already fantastic aural experience off with an even more fantastic live performance. Even hardcore Queen fans should find plenty to justify the purchase of this compilation. Hell, I even enjoy listening to this album's version of "Fat Bottomed Girls," which is a Queen song I normally despise! This is definitely a great purchase!
