Am I missing something? I thought Lord of the Flies was supposed to be a masterpiece of literature and cinema. I just didn't feel it. I didn't care about any of the characters, and the dubbing was atrocious. There were some good moments, and I liked a lot of the cinematography and framing of shots. There were just too many plot holes to really make me believe this could actually happen. As for the ending...what? That's it? I imagined a much more thoughtful, thought-provoking ending. I imagined a much more tragic ending. Instead, it's just...whatever. A bunch of kids are stranded on an island, and they go crazy.
