Although I felt Grand Hotel to be a bit too long, I was still thoroughly entertained with this fun interweaving of various people's lives, contained solely within a large, fancy hotel. There is plenty of creative, inventive cinematography for a film of its time, and the characters are all charming and lovable. It was the fifth film to win an Academy Award for Best Picture. It's definitely a charming little film that is sure to please.
