Reading this book now, it's hard to imagine the impact it must have had upon its initial release. We all know the tale, every twist and turn, before even opening the book, so to write an objective review is quite tough. It's a well-written book, told from different perspectives. Stevenson brilliantly creates a vivid, dark London, in which a scientist hides a dark secret, and a madman is on the loose.
