Death Becomes Her

1992 ** 103 mins.

I wanted to like this film, I really did. It just gets to damned ridiculous in the second half, though, that it loses my interest. A lifelong feud between two women leads one to seek out a serum that not only reverses the effects of aging, manages to keep her body up and moving, even after she dies. Bruce Willis plays the man that both women love and are arguing over. Aside from a few genuinely funny setups, the unforgettably gorgeous presence of Isabella Rossellini, and some decent special effects (at least for 1992), the film lacks any real substantial value.
