Milos Forman's Oscar-winning Best Picture about Mozart and his jealous peer, Salieri, is a flawed masterpiece, at best. It is full of talent, great performances, great costumes, great art direction, etc., but it all falls flat with a drab screenplay and a running time that is sure to make even the most devout music lover squirm. It's sure to kill one's opinion of the brilliant mind that was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It's worth a viewing, just for the subject at hand, but not much more than that.
